Wschód Piękna Festiwal

Wschód Piękna Festival

Grzech Piotrowski is the founder and artistic director of the festival Wschód Piękna (The East of Beauty), where he invites soloists of the World Orchestra and shares his personal musical inspirations. Wschód Piękna is a non-commercial event that, for over a decade, has promoted artistic excellence, originality, and multicultural dialogue. One of its key missions is to encourage deep engagement with art, rather than passive consumption. The festival is always held in the picturesque region of Warmia, in northern Poland.

At the heart of the festival lies the idea of uniting Polish musical culture with traditions from around the globe — revealing how deeply cultural identity is expressed through music, regardless of geography. We believe music is the true universal language. Wschód Piękna presents exceptional artists from the worlds of jazz, ethnic, folk, and classical music — performers of the highest caliber. We are a festival of art, dedicated to showing that music is more than sound: it is emotion, spirit, and a source of lasting beauty that becomes a cherished memory.

Our audience consists of those who seek meaningful musical experiences and an atmosphere of pure, accessible artistic expression — not only seasoned music lovers, but also those in search of sophisticated entertainment. We are proud to say that Wschód Piękna has become synonymous with both quality and diversity. Over the years, the festival has grown to be one of the most important cultural events in the Warmia and Masuria region — a fact reflected in awards recognizing its contribution to the promotion of art and culture, both locally and internationally:

  • Icon of Warmia and Masuria (2018),

  • President of the City of Olsztyn Award (2019).

  • Certified Product of Warmia–Masuria Region.
