Since 2016, Grzech Piotrowski has been the Artistic Director of one of the oldest traditional jazz festivals in Europe — the Old Jazz Meeting "Złota Tarka" in Iława.

Złota Tarka is both the name of the festival dedicated to traditional jazz and the prestigious award given during the event. The Old Jazz Meeting "Złota Tarka" International Traditional Jazz Festival boasts a history of over 40 years. Its origins date back to 1965, when the Traditional Jazz Club, operating within the Warsaw Student Cultural Center Stodoła, started awarding the prize for the best Polish traditional jazz band.
