Horizon Trio

Horizon Trio

GRZECH PIOTROWSKI / EIVIND AARSET / TERJE ISUGSET

Three improvisers, three virtuosos, three masters of creating space on a single stage. The album Horizon was recorded by Tadeusz Mieczkowski using the Dolby Atmos system. It will be available on LP, CD, and MC formats, and can be specially ordered in tape format. Where possible, concerts will be performed with surround sound, allowing the audience to fully immerse themselves in the experience.

"Horizon" is a journey through life that begins somewhere beyond the body, in the vastness of space. Music accompanies the key moments of this earthly journey — both the joyful and the painful. It resonates with the final note, which is not an end, but the beginning of yet another infinite journey.

Eivind Aarset - an internationally renowned guitarist with a unique musical vision that captivates listeners, taking them through various genres. "Rhythm is the center of music, the landscape through which the soloist travels." These are uncharted spaces, endless in scope. Within them, countless extraordinary sounds exist, and from them, new music is born. This exploration makes the creative process itself the most exhilarating journey.

Terje Isungset - a percussionist and composer who blends art with nature. He uses natural materials such as wood and stone in his music. Since the 1990s, Terje has been pioneering the creation of ice instruments and co-founded the world-famous Ice Music Festival in Norway — a decade-long project that has become a landmark of musical innovation.

Grzech Piotrowski - composer, saxophonist, music producer, and arranger. A visionary artist who balances between film music, classical music, jazz, ethno, roots, and open improvisation. Grzech creates projects that are full of space, emotions, and magic — where the harmonious collaboration of exceptional personalities and musical temperaments truly resonates.
